Our product is an app-based solution that lets immigrants send money back home to emerging markets instantly and at very low prices. The Role

Taptap Send is seeking an ambitious individual to launch its operations team in Belgium and to support its business operations across Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for and work across all aspects of Taptap Send’s daily operations in Belgium and Europe, including tracking and troubleshooting service issues, performing key business analyses and managing FX across multiple currencies being the glue between all the functions of the company, and working with our external vendors to deliver a high quality product. You will work closely with the operations team in London, as well as all other teams around the world, to ensure that Taptap Send Belgium is properly supported in its growth and customer service ambitions.

Your responsibilites will include

  • Ensure that Taptap Send Belgium’s day-to-day operations are smooth
  • Oversee Taptap Send Belgium’s vendor relationships
  • Maintain a high standard of service performance and troubleshoot issues with key vendors, partners, and Taptap Send engineers
  • Manage new market roll-outs in collaboration with the engineering, product, marketing, and customer service teams
  • Work on a variety of day-to-day operational tasks as they arise (volume forecasting, FX trading, wiring, etc.)

Requirements

You enjoy challenges and you love working in teams and building relationships with key stakeholders. You don’t hesitate to place a call to ensure important issues get resolved promptly or leave your comfort zone for a negotiation or research. You are enthusiastic about working within the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing startup.

  • >2 years’ experience in a top-tier professional services firm or in a payments or operations role in a start-up
  • Great organizational skills, able to manage multiple deliverables in a fast pace environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in French and English; Dutch or German an advantage
  • Right to work in Belgium
